1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HolidaySync at holidaysync.getinfotoyou.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.

2. Use of Service

HolidaySync is provided free of charge. You may use the Service for both personal and commercial purposes, including:

You may not use the Service in any way that:

  • Violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations

  • Misrepresents the source of holiday data or passes it off as official government data without appropriate verification
  • Reverse-engineers or attempts to extract proprietary components of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion if we believe these Terms are being violated.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

HolidaySync provides holiday, nameday, and Catholic feast day information as a convenience tool. The data is sourced from third-party providers:

  • Public holidays are fetched from the Nager.at Public Holidays API, which is community-maintained and sources from government publications.
  • Nameday data is provided by nameday.abalin.net.
  • Catholic feast dates are computed locally using the standard Gregorian Easter algorithm.
Important: While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, holiday legislation can change with little notice. Do not rely solely on HolidaySync for critical legal, business, or travel decisions. Always verify important dates with official government sources, employer policies, or relevant authorities.

HolidaySync makes no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information provided. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

4. Intellectual Property

The HolidaySync name, logo, website design, source code, and original content are the intellectual property of the HolidaySync team. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from these materials without express written permission.

Holiday data sourced from Nager.at is provided under the MIT License and is openly available at github.com/nager/Nager.Date. Nameday data from nameday.abalin.net is subject to that service's terms. Catholic feast dates computed by HolidaySync's algorithm are not subject to any intellectual property restriction — the underlying Gregorian algorithm is in the public domain.

If you use HolidaySync data in your own projects or publications, we appreciate attribution, though it is not required for public domain data.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HolidaySync and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Inaccurate or outdated holiday data
  • Decisions made based on information from the Service
  • Temporary unavailability of the Service or third-party APIs
  • Any errors, bugs, or interruptions in the Service

In no event shall HolidaySync's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past twelve months. Since the Service is free, this amount is zero.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HolidaySync and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

8. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may add or remove features, change data sources, or alter the user interface as we continue to improve HolidaySync.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where HolidaySync operates.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
